Statistics tells us only 32% of students from the age of 18 - 22 years old vote in a Presidential Election. Why? 1. Maybe it's harder to drive back home and go vote if they live far away from home. 2. Maybe they don't know about how to registar to vote. 3. Maybe they don't know how to vote using an absentee voter ballot. 4. Maybe they are not interested in politics or any of the candidates. So this forum is to generate discussion particulary with the 2012 Huckabee Fan student members. Although it's open to anyone. We need to change this statistic around and get them to vote for Mike Huckabee. There are millions of votes we can secure if we work on this 2012 Presidential goal. Students and others please provide your input on how we can accomplish this goal of ours. Let's get creative, let's make it happen. Students we need you as ambassador's to convince your fellow students around the country to get out and vote for Mike in 2012. We need your enthusiasm and energy to persuade others to come and join you here at the largest fastest growing 2012 Presidential site in the world. Like to hear your thoughts on this topic. As a high school student, I am ready to recruit for the GOP. I must say its a honor to be part of this group of people who are already tired of Obamas plans to drag this country. WE LIKE MIKE!

I think that young people should be encouraged to listen to talk radio. The education system in America has been so infiltrated and influenced by the likes of Obama's radical friends and influences that young people just don't hear very much common sense much less conservative thought. Turn your friends on to talk radio, if they won't turn on the radio send them podcasts of your favorite shows! Make a cd/dvd of your favorite Huckabee speeches and give those out for Christmas. Buy Gov Huckabee's books and share them!

I believe the RNC and Mike Huckabee and all of us need to concentrate on EDUCATING people, young and old, friends and neighbors, Republicans and Democrats, about the history of American ideals.....and what the differences are between freemarkets and socialistic/ Marxist ideals. From what I saw on some of the news clips there are many people in America now...coming out of University...who really believe socialism is a good thing. We have to start teaching them what they didn't learn in school.

Gov Huck needs to take an active role in shaping the direction of the RNC in the coming years. If he waits until midterm elections, It may be too late. By providing a CLEAR direction and a CLEAR message, Huck can reachout to students who will start to see that the four years of this current administration were not the best thing for America. There needs to be an awakening in the homes and school to help students see that the liberal policies of government only leads to an entitlement society.

There should be more controversy, as in discussion. Students get more involved if there is controversy and discussion, well, at least I do.
I guess the best thing we can do is start talking to people about political opinions, how moral effect the government, corruption, foreign policy, other current events, etc, etc. Have thought provoking conversations that make both parties of the conversation think, and think deeply.
if you have conversations like this, students might not know the answers and MIGHT research it more or ask around. When they do so they become more and more involved. Eventually they begin to care about what happens, or, it sops at step one. It probably won't happen instantaneously.
Thats the best I can come up with.

If you want more college students involved in this endevor, Mike Huckabee has got to make his name more known. Us as his supporters can only do so much. When (and if) he decided to run again, he needs to come speak at more colleges other than IV League and Religious Institutions. HE NEEDS TO SPEAK AT MORE COMMUNITY COLLEGES!!!! As a community college student, I know that there tends to be more blue collor low income students there than at the well known 4 year Universities. THIS IS THE DEMOGRAPHIC the GOP needs to reach out to. Should we let the Obamacrats freely have these key votes that WE NEED, HELLLLLLLLL NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
