Are politicans turning into celebrities?

Well not quite, but for one politican / presidential candidate / TV host you can say yes. Who is that, none other than Governor Mike Huckabee. Mr. Huckabee was the Governor of Arkansas for more than a decade and we might add a very successful one too. So successful that even Time Magazine named him one of America's Top 5 Governors.

After Mike Huckabee's surprising second place finish in the 2008 Presidential Elections for the Republican party, he has launched another successful career and this time on Television. Immediately following the 2008 Presidential Elections, Governor Huckabee was approached by all Television stations. In the end, he choose the Fox News Channel and did he score big, his weekly TV show called "Huckabe" is knocking the socks off the competition. In just the short time period it has been on the air. Nielsen TV rankings is consistently rating the "Huckabee" show number one, beating out CNN, MSNBC and Headline News all combined plus more.

Mike Huckabee has made a successful change from politican to successful celebrity. With his down home wit, his superior communication skills and his musical talents he is raking in high marks from all over. One might wonder, if he can be so successful in so many venues, how about a career in a major Rock Band? It might not be too far fetched either, he has been playing bass guitar since he was only 6 years old, approaching 50 years of experience. But which Rock Band could Mike Huckabee play bass guitar with?
